Ms. Pearson,

I have read a many books, and I am not the type to read romance novels. I like mystery, adventure, and maybe a little romance. However, your book, Kiss of Deception, just WOW'ed me. I am disappointed that I read it without the other two books of the trilogy not being finished, but I am glad that I did. As I was reading it, I thought to myself that I might have missed some clues in the characters as to who was Rafe and who was Kaden. But reading the blogs, I realize you did that on purpose, which I am glad for.

Thank you for using your talent to entertain so many people.

Let me start by saying that I am a 35 year old teacher and librarian, and a devout YA fantasy reader. I found your book, The Kiss of Deception, through recommendations after reading things like Graceling. I'm not a huge fan of romance and very rarely seek out a story with romance at the core, but I LOVED this story! I really connected emotionally with Lia, and I really enjoyed the richness of your characters. I am desperate for the next book! I can't wait for the school year to start so that I can start recommending this book to my students! I can't wait for the next book!
