You asked, so here it is!

ARC's (Advanced Reader Copies) of
The Heart of Betrayal have arrived!

Thank you all for your enthusiasm to read the next leg of Lia's, Rafe's, and Kaden's journeys. As you know from The Kiss of Deception, they are all on the verge of stepping into Venda, which is a world that Lia never could have imagined.

Remember, ARCs are not the final book. They are drafts of the story that still have their slips showing (aka typos, mistakes, etc.). Never fear, all will be tucked and righted in the final book, but we wanted to give you an early sneak peek!

a Rafflecopter giveaway
Thanks for sharing the excitement! Spread the word!

Two of my favorite quotes are:

and "I had ignored the gift. But I hadn't done it on my own" because of the plot twist that goes with that.

My favorite character was Walther. I loved how much he cares for Lia. Despite the consequences he could face he still sought her out to make sure she was okay and had the means to survive. The love he had for Greta made me swoon. I loved how he spoke so fondly of her and their baby. My heart absolutely broke for him. My favorite scene of the entire book is the burial scene with Lia and Kaden and the soldiers. Tears everywhere. I just can't imagine how she felt.

I just loved Pauline. I think she totally deserves her own happily ever after. I think Pauline is own of the sweetest sidekicks I've ever read, and I believe that she gave Lia a human side that we wouldn't have otherwise seen. Lia felt she needed to protect Pauline, and I think that made me love Lia all the more. I believe that Pauline was the person that held Lia together in the palace, and I loved that she got to go on the adventure with Lia back to her home town.

I was between too many quotes so I cant just pick a favorite. And I was between Lia and Rafe as my favorites but I'd have to pick Lia. She's really strong, she made the hard choice of leaving everything behind abd choose herself instead but she ended up embracing her duty even when she had everything she wanted cause she couldn t live the life that she wanted at the expense of her people. She's a good sister and a good friend. She cares deeply about others and she's not some noble girl that cant consider anyone else's problems and feelings. And even though she was attracted to two guys as it happens in many YA books, it is a uncommon - in a good way - that she seems to know where her heart lies (in a romantic level). Also, her gift is slowly developing is really interesting and it'll make her even more amazing. I wrote too much again...but these are just a few of the reasons that I love her.
Also I have to give a shout out to Rafe for melting my heart, Kaden whom I didnt like that much with Lia but for some reason I want him to get a happy ending with my precious Pauline...and of course Pauline, who has been through so many hardships so early in her life and deserves a life full of love and joy.

One of my many favorite Quotes from The Kiss of Deception has to be "Maybe there was no one way to define it. Maybe there were as many shades of love as the blues of the sky." That quote is just so beautiful and true to me. Also, Lia has to be my favorite character, not because she is the main character, but because she is fierce, strong, sassy, and a force to be reckoned with. However, she also has a sweetness and softness to her that makes you love her even more. She is one of my favorite heroines by far.

"When I'm not with you, I wonder where you are. I wonder what you're doing. I think about how much I want to touch you. I want to feel your skin, your hair, run every dark strand through my fingers. i want to hold you, your hands, your chin.".... "I want to pull you close and never let you go."

I love all of the characters, they are so intricate and your character development is flawless. My favorite, however, definitely has to be Lia. She's so strong and independent, I really admire how she stands up for herself and chooses to live the life she wants regardless of how difficult it is.

I'm just going to leave this quote here, because reading these words made the hair rise on my arms.

"My voice rose, tossed, grieved, cut through the winds, and then became part of them, braided with the words of a thousand years, a thousand tears, the valley filling not with my voice alone but with the lamentations of mothers, sisters and daughters of times past."

I love Rafe, but that's a given. I really like this quote “Who was this girl who thumbed her nose at two kingdoms and did as she pleased?” because when I reread it I thought "little do you know, little do you know."

RAFE is a babe and he's my favourite!

My favourite quote is, “I will find you. In the farthest corner, I will find you.” AND “It can take years to mold a dream. It takes only a fraction of a second for it to be shattered.” AND LASTLY, “Today was the day a thousand dreams would die and a single dream would be born."

There's just a lot so I couldnt resist. ;)

Thanks so much for the giveaway!

I think Kaden. I feel like he's in a really difficult, unforgiving position right now and that makes me feel for him ;)

Lia, because she is really brave even when she is full of fears, but Kaden is pretty swoon worthy too

OMG! I WANT! I LOVE the first book and am dying for the next. Seriously. When I realized I was at the end, my heart was bursting with longing to have the second book in my hands already.

Really, I liked all of the characters. It was a really wonderful group that made up the novel. Although I probably liked other characters more, I enjoyed reading from Kaden's perspective the most, because he's such a mystery.

Although I loved Lia, my favorite character would have to be Pauline. She has such a sweet and genuine personality, and is so devoted to Lia. I think she has a lot of inner strength considering what happened with Mickael, and that her best friend has now been kidnapped by Vendans. I'll be excited to see how her character develops in the next book!

I have to say that my favorite character was "the Prince", that's right, the one we were not sure if he was Rafe or Kaden. I think maybe the reason for that was that in the chapters we knew it was the prince or the assassin, we really got to know their character while in the chapters of Rafe and Kaden, I got the impression that we didn't get to truly get to know them since we didn't know their motivation... That said, I really liked the mistery of which one was the prince and which one the assassin and I must say that even though I was quite sure Raffe was the prince there were misleading clues that made me fear that maybe I was wrong! I will definetely reread the book now that I know who is who! :D

Walther. As an older sibling I know it can sometimes be hard to balance life and elder sibling status (especially if the younger sibling doesn't have all the information). I liked Lia and Rafe and Kaiden...but I loved Walther.

Rafe is definitely my favourite character - but I was torn between both Rafe and Kaden for most of the book! And of course, Lia is awesome.
